THE MODULAR PUBLIC TOILETBY MOMEK PTN
The PT MODULAR M4.0 CONCEPT is a fully autonomous off-grid toilet for the Norwegian Army. Integrated diesel generator, diesel heater, solar panels, water tank, septic tank and septic incinerator.
The septic incinerator has a capacity of up to 750 visitors/day, and the septic to ash-waste ratio is 0,64%.
Very energy efficiency in terms of low consumption numbers for water, diesel and electrical power.
Technical supervision through sensor monitoring and push-notification to app/sms from integrated alert/warning systems/sensors on water level, diesel level, battery capacity, waste level, temperatures, humidity, door states.
Solar cells will successfully handle 489 daily visitors under Norwegian conditions with conservative estimate for sun exposure in periods such as May to September.
Average comfortable temperature of approximately 20 degrees from a robust diesel heater.
The PT Modular Arisberget is in the rest stop and picnic area of Skaidi in Finnmark, Norway. The module is equipped with a toilet, a handicap toilet and a Camper Clean unit for RVs. The exterior is cladded with siberian larch and will develop a natural patina over time.
At the Halsa ferry dock in Northern Norway the PT Modular Halsa is a great addition for the traveller. The module is equipped with a waiting-room and a fully equipped handicap toilet.
As a part of The Norwegian Scenic Routes/Nasjonale Turistveier the module is a design statement with it’s exterior in siberian larch and mirrored stainless steel. The mirrored stainless steel continues into the interior.
At the fall of 2015 we delivered 2 units to the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. The toilets are to be used at rest areas along the E8 Lavangsdalen in Troms County.
The toilets are designed and developed by Momek-PTN and prefabricated in our workshop. Built with robust materials and components. The toilet buildings are equipped with their own integrated water tank and burial septic tank. The facilities are controlled using sensors and vacuum to minimize power and water consumption.
The toilets are universally designed to also be used by wheelchair users.
One of the modules is also equipment with emptying and cleaning facilities for toilet cassettes used by campers and caravans. This is the first fully automated emptying machine delivered in Norway.
We placed one of the most Innovative public toilets in the world in the harsh and beautiful Lofoten area of Northern Norway. The PT Modular located in Sildpollnes is a dual-design with one larger toilet and a ramp for easy access.
Interior/exterior design: 70°N arkitektur as.
